Tottenham's Jan Vertonghen misses first Premier League match since November

For the first time since November 9, Tottenham took the pitch without one of the stalwarts of their, admittedly porous, defense.
The Belgian defender, 27, had played every minute of Premier League action since missing his last match nearly five months ago - a 2-1 loss to Stoke City.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino opted to replace Vertonghen with Vlad Chiriches for Sunday's contest against Burnley.
