VIDEO: Piers Morgan grills Jonny Evans' wife about spitting incident
Piers Morgan ruffled the feathers of Manchester United supporters when he called the team's phone-in show to complain about Jonny Evans' comments regarding his part in the spitting incident with Newcastle's Papiss Cisse.
Morgan, a television personality and avid Arsenal supporter, wanted to get to the bottom of Evans' comments when the United defender denied allegations of spitting. And who better to speak with than his wife, Helen, one of the hosts for Manchester United's TV channel.
He didn't waste a moment when asking about Evans' denial, and Helen came to her husband's defence.
Things got a bit awkward, but the clip ends with a classic bit of banter between the two as they made predictions for Monday's FA Cup clash between Arsenal and Manchester United.
