Report: Manchester United to hold off on renewing 2016 deals until summer

Manchester United players whose deals expire in 2016 will have to wait until the summer, as the club will reportedly put contract negotiations on hold until the season is finished.
Sources revealed United's intentions to ESPNFC.com.
Ten players in total have deals until 2016, with Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Rafael da Silva and Ashley Young headlining the list.
There's a possibility that manager Louis van Gaal will try to revamp the entire back line, putting the futures of Jones, Evans and Smalling at Old Trafford beyond next season in jeopardy.
Since the defenders were inherited by the Dutch boss, he may opt to sign his own players during the summer transfer window.
