Report: Didier Drogba says he will remain with Chelsea next season
Despite playing a minor role for Chelsea during the team's successful Premier League campaign, Didier Drogba looks set to return to Stamford Bridge for at least one more season.
Drogba, 36, expressed his desire to remain with the Blues during a conversation with French publication Telefoot, saying that he will remain a Chelsea player next season.
The Ivorian rejoined the team during the summer transfer window after two years away with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua in the Chinese Super League and Turkish side Galatasaray.
He's struggled to break into the starting lineup thanks to the blistering scoring pace of striker Diego Costa, but has played an important role off the bench.
In Drogba's 17 Premier League matches, 15 as a substitute, he's managed to record three goals.
