Swansea City added some depth to their backline Thursday, as they confirmed the signing of full-back Kyle Naughton from Tottenham.
Naughton, who completed a medical before penning his contract, arrives at Liberty Stadium on a three-and-a-half-year deal. While Swansea did not disclose the fee, the Guardian reported Tuesday that the two clubs had agreed to a fee of £5 million.
Minutes were hard to come by for Naughton at White Hart Lane this season. After featuring semi-regularly for Tottenham last campaign, he was limited to five Premier League appearances under manager Mauricio Pochettino, accumulating a total of only 326 minutes on the pitch.
