Vincent Kompany is set to take the pitch for the first time in over a month when Manchester City host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The City captain was included in Manuel Pellegrini's team sheet and will get his first start since the Dec. 13 meeting with Leicester when he re-aggravated a hamstring injury.
Kompany will lineup along a back-line that hasn't missed a beat in his absence. The club have put together an impressive unbeaten run that stretches back to November and will look to extend their unbeaten run against Arsenal to six matches.
His presence will boost City's chances of keeping pace with the league leaders, as City enter the match five points back of Chelsea.
