The charges against West Ham's Ravel Morrison have been thrown out.
Morrison was cleared Thursday of all three charges of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Reah Mansoor, and her mother, Parveen Mansoor, after they attended a nightclub in the city of Manchester.
CCTV footage of the first alleged assault showed Morrison had not hit his ex-girlfriend, as was alleged, and she had instead "slumped" to the floor on her own. Prosecutor Guy Mathieson told the court that all three charges had been withdrawn after discovery of the video.
Morrison, whose career continues to be plagued by off-the-pitch issues, is back at West Ham following a three-month loan spell at Cardiff City, where he failed to make much of an impact.
