Manchester City completes signing of Wilfried Bony from Swansea
Manchester City's already vaunted attack has added even more firepower.
The club announced Wednesday, after much speculation, that a deal has been completed with Swansea City for the permanent transfer of Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony.

Bony, 26, signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Citizens, a contract that will keep him at the club through the 2018-19 season - should he see it out to the end.
Financial details were not disclosed, though multiple reports have suggested Swansea will pocket roughly £28 million. The Welsh club only noted that they received a club-record fee for the striker, who arrived in the Premier League from Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem for £12 million in 2013, and went on to score 34 goals in 70 appearances with the club.

Bony, who is training with the Ivory Coast ahead of this month's Africa Cup of Nations, was understandably excited about the move.
"It’s a great feeling for me, it’s a big honour to be here and it’s a great challenge," he said. "As a player it’s always good to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world and it’s a good opportunity for me to be in that situation now - I’m really proud.
"I felt excited to wait for this moment and now it’s come, it’s fantastic."
With the recent return of Sergio Aguero from a knee injury and the presence of Yaya Toure and Edin Dzeko in the squad, Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini now has four of the Premier League's top scorers from 2014 at his disposal:
