GIF: Arsenal's Giroud loses his mind, shown red card for headbutt

Arsenal was coasting to the easiest of victories against QPR on Friday, leading only 1-0 but so dominant it bordered on the ridiculous.

Olivier Giroud, perhaps feeling sorry for how badly QPR were being outplayed, decided to give them a lifeline by getting himself sent off for a moment of madness.

The Frenchman, who nearly scored when the ball ricocheted off him from a Robert Green clearance, immediately burst to his feet and inexplicably headbutted Nedum Onuoha. Perhaps he thought he was pushed from behind by the defender, but the reaction is ludicrous regardless. 

From a tighter angle, we get the added bonus of seeing Green and Rio Ferdinand react to the incident.
