Brendan Rodgers thinks 'Alexis Sanchez dived, the referee bought it'

Liverpool registered 17 goal attempts compared to Arsenal's four and had 65 percent of the possession on Sunday, statistics that suggest Brendan Rodgers' side should have escaped with more than a 2-2 draw.
However, Rodgers doesn't see those as the only reasons Liverpool deserved three points, as he believes the free kick Alexis Sanchez earned ahead of Arsenal's second goal should never have been awarded.
"Alexis Sanchez dived, for me, and the referee bought it - but we have to defend better," Rodgers said, according to ESPN FC. "We lost three duels, and we need to win the first one."
