Report: Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul to miss 6 weeks with ankle injury

Newcastle United will have to continue its surge up the Premier League table without its first-choice goalkeeper.
The Daily Mail reports that Tim Krul will miss the next six weeks with an ankle problem.
The Dutchman suffered the injury in training ahead of Saturday's 1-0 loss to West Ham and was replaced by Rob Elliot, whom manager Alan Pardew confirmed will assume the starting role in Krul's absence.
With the bloated December schedule on the horizon, the timing of the injury means Krul could miss upwards of seven matches for the Magpies.
