Free agent 'keeper Victor Valdes has the opportunity to complete his rehabilitation from a knee injury with the side he helped Barcelona overcome in the 2011 Champions League final.
Valdes, who is still recovering from surgery to repair the torn ACL in his right knee, will work his way back to fitness with Manchester United. Manager Louis van Gaal offered the 32-year-old a chance to have his recovery supervised by the club's medical staff before he begins training with their first team.
While the move will surely lead to speculation about Valdes potentially signing with United, one has to wonder how Wayne Rooney would feel about playing alongside the Spanish 'keeper.
