Jack Wilshere included in Arsenal squad to play Galatasaray
With the club in the midst of a full-blown injury crisis, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had some good news regarding the fitness of midfielder Jack Wilshere ahead of the team's crucial Champions League match against Galatasaray on Wednesday.
"Jack Wilshere is in the squad for tomorrow," Wenger said. "Will I start him? I don't know yet, but he's in the squad."
The English midfielder has been dealing with an ankle injury sustained in the team's most recent Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund - and seemed to aggravate it this past weekend against Tottenham.
But with Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), Mikel Arteta (calf) and Abou Diaby (lacking match fitness) all out of the lineup, Wilshere will likely see some sort of action tomorrow, even if it is from the bench.
