GIF: Hugo Lloris makes phenomenal goal-line save on Per Mertesacker

Although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain found an equalizer 16 minutes later, Hugo Lloris did an excellent job of keeping Arsenal off the scoresheet in the 58th minute when his quick reflexes allowed him to deny Per Mertesacker of a casual header off a free kick.

If that wasn't impressive enough, Lloris followed up the save by scrambling on the ground and smacking the ball off the goal line as Arsenal players ran in for the rebound.

While Lloris' save was obviously world-class, Tottenham's entire defensive performance throughout the match was something to behold.
