Arsenal's Capital One Cup tie against Southampton on Tuesday got off to a resounding start as it took all of 13 minutes for Alexis Sanchez to open the scoring at the Emirates Stadium.
After being brought down roughly 25 yards away from goal, Sanchez blasted home the ensuing free kick with a shot that couldn't have dipped more perfectly and caught Fraser Forster staring in awe.
Another reminder that it's taken next to no time for Sanchez to establish himself as Arsenal's most impressive signing of the summer transfer window.
