Thibaut Courtois signs new 5-year contract with Chelsea

If veteran Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech wasn't already keeping an eye out for opportunities elsewhere, he should start now.
Courtois, who returned to Stamford Bridge this season following three successful years on loan with Atletico Madrid, has supplanted his elder teammate as Jose Mourinho's preferred choice between the sticks, starting all three Premier League matches so far this year.
"I’m very happy with this new deal, it’s really nice to have signed this new contract for five years," the 22-year-old Belgian said.
"My future was already sorted but it’s nice to know I’m going to be here for another five years and now I can just concentrate on playing games."
