VIDEO: Jose Mourinho says Petr Cech unhappy after losing starting job to Courtois
Reuters
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho met with the media ahead of their weekend match against Leicester and revealed veteran 'keeper Petr Cech is not "totally happy" about missing out on the opener against Burnley after Thibaut Courtois was given the start.
However, it's not just Cech, as Mourinho tried to generalise the statement and said there's multiple players who were upset to miss the opening game.
"I don’t believe he is completely happy as is everyone that didn’t start the game. They clearly feel that some are playing (ahead of them)."
He went on to blame the August schedule that has the club playing one match per week and said a rotation of players will be used when the fixtures increase in September.
