United target Reus on transfer rumors: It's 'safe to say' I'll be playing for Dortmund next season
Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has poured cold water on rumors linking him with a summer move to Manchester United, saying that he will still be a member of the German club next season.
Via The Guardian, Reus told German magazine Kicker that he has no intention of leaving the club with whom he has become a household name over the past two seasons.
"It's safe to say I will be playing for Borussia Dortmund also in the 2014-15 season," he said. "Basically I do not need to stress all the time that I am feeling great being with the club. As far as leaving [Borussia Dortmund] that is no issue for me, and I am not affected by the transfer release clause."
The versatile 24-year-old attacker, who has a release clause of €35 million, scored 16 goals and added 13 assists in league play this season.
