Report: Cleverley, Welbeck and Young fined for violating team rules

There's a time and a place for drowning your sorrows in alcohol following a rough day. Unfortunately for Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck and Ashley Young, they got it massively wrong on both accounts.

The Manchester United trio was fined by manager David Moyes after they were photographed in Manchester's city centre on Thursday, one night following their Champions League exit at the hands of Bayern Munich. 

Jamie Jackson reports Cleverley, Welbeck and Young violated curfew laws that stated Manchester United players should not be out late within 48 hours of the match. 

Defender Chris Smalling was fined for a similar incident at the end of March.
