Arsenal will travel to U.S for first time in 25 years
Thierry Henry will see some familiar faces at the end of July.
Arsenal announced they will play Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls in a friendly on July 26 at Red Bull Arena.
The game will be Arsenal's only match on their trip to the United States.
“It goes without saying that hosting Arsenal at Red Bull Arena will be a special moment for me both on a professional and personal level," Henry said in a statement.
Henry scored 226 goals for Arsenal in all competitions and was a member of The Invincibles, Arsene Wenger's unbeaten side in the 2003-04 season.
"As I have said before, the club is in my heart and this will be another terrific chapter in my relationship with Arsenal Football Club. Along with my teammates, I am excited to host Arsenal in New York – one of the greatest cities in the world – and hope that Red Bulls and Arsenal fans will be able to enjoy the match."
Arsenal last visited the United States in 1989, facing off against Argetine club Independiente in Miami.
