Campbell hopes he'll get a chance with Arsenal
Joel Campbell's goal on Tuesday was simple: show the them what you can do.
The Costa Rican international delivered, scoring a highlight reel goal against Manchester United on the way to a surprising 2-0 Olympiakos win at Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens.
Campbell, on loan from Arsenal, hopes his performance has opened some eyes in North London.
"I am still hopeful of playing for Arsenal but I have not been given the chance yet, I hope to keep working at Olympiakos," Campbell said, via ESPN FC.
"I am making sure that I take this opportunity. Thank God I scored a goal and celebrated it with my father, girlfriend and cousins."
Where Campbell fits in with Arsenal remains to be seen, with players like Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Serge Gnabry ahead of Campbell on the depth chart.
