Bournemouth want to keep Antoine Semenyo until the end of the season but admit they can do little to prevent him leaving in January if his £65-million release clause is triggered. Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Ghanaian international.

Semenyo's valuation last summer was £70 million, but a clause in the contract he signed in July will drop his asking price by £5 million. The release clause must be activated by a set deadline which gives Bournemouth time to find a replacement. Semenyo's price tag will drop even more next summer if he stays past the January transfer window. (The Athletic)
