New Benfica boss Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with Karim Benzema. The Al-Ittihad striker is considering leaving Saudi Arabia in January, and Benfica are among the clubs interested in bringing him back to Europe. Al-Ittihad's slow start to the season reportedly has Benzema eyeing an exit.

The 37-year-old, a former Ballon d'Or winner, worked with Mourinho when the two were at Real Madrid. That familiarity could give the Portuguese club an advantage over several other suitors. (Marca)
