Latest transfer news and rumors: Barca could rush through Rashford deal
The transfer window may be closed, but the rumor mill never stops. Check in every day for the latest transfer buzz around the soccer world.
Top story: Marcus on the move ... but when?
Barcelona fully intend to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United on a permanent basis, but they might not wait until the end of the season to exercise their option to buy the on-loan forward. The Englishman has quickly settled into Catalonian life and impressed on the pitch, scoring twice in a Champions League win at Newcastle United on Thursday. Rashford's smooth transition is encouraging Barcelona to consider selling players to fund a January move.
However, Barca want to do an early deal at a discount. Rashford's option to buy stands at €30 million, but the club wants to pay around €23 million this winter. (TBR Football)
