Chelsea have reached an agreement on personal terms with Jeremy Jacquet, their top center-back target. However, there's still no agreement over a transfer fee with Rennes. Hakuna Mateta: Crystal Palace have rejected Juventus' first bid for Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Italian club offered a €2-million loan and €28-million obligation to buy that would be activated with Europa League qualification, but Palace want €40 million in a permanent sale. (Gianluca Di Marzio)

Dro wants to go: Paris Saint-Germain have moved quickly to finalize a deal for prodigious midfielder Dro Fernandez after the 18-year-old surprised Barcelona by informing the club he wants to leave. PSG will trigger his €6-million release clause and have prepared a four-year contract. (ESPN)

Pepi party: Ricardo Pepi's recent injury hasn't deterred suitors. Despite the 23-year-old breaking his forearm earlier this month, Fulham remain interested in signing the PSV and United States striker. (Sky Sports)

Tarik upon Tyne: Newcastle, seeking defensive reinforcements, are in the mix for Sassuolo's Tarik Muharemovic. AC Milan are also tracking the 22-year-old center-back. (Football Insider)
