Top story: City to act fast in transfer market
"We'll go about our business, and it will be very clear, very swift. Our objective is to try to be ready with the new squad for the Club World Cup," Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said in an interview released on the club's media channels Thursday.
Al Mubarak regrets City's lack of aggression in last summer's transfer market, so expect the club to try to wrap up deals for AC Milan's Tijjani Reijnders and Lyon's Rayan Cherki before the squad heads to the United States. City are also interested in Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White and would like to strengthen their full-back options. (The Telegraph)
