Top story: Can Reyna find groove with Gladbach?
Giovanni Reyna could stay in Germany as he tries to get his career back on track ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The American winger's Borussia Dortmund contract expires at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, and the club doesn't intend to offer him fresh terms. However, Borussia Monchengladbach could give the 22-year-old an escape route out of the Westfalenstadion.
Reyna has also attracted interest from Parma and clubs in Spain and Portugal. Still, he's believed to be open to joining Monchengladbach for regular minutes before the United States men's national team competes in the World Cup on home soil. His close friend Joe Scally, who he knows from his days in New York City FC's academy, often starts for Gladbach. (The Athletic)
