Latest transfer news and rumors: Man United set price for Rashford
The transfer window may be closed, but the rumors never stop swirling. Check in every day for all the latest buzz from across the soccer world.
Top story: Rashford race begins
Marcus Rashford could be the central figure of one of the summer's most drawn-out transfer sagas after Manchester United slapped a £40-million price tag on their unwanted forward. The English international was sent on loan to Aston Villa in January after United head coach Ruben Amorim publicly called him out for a lack of effort in training, but he's since caught the eye with some strong performances for the Birmingham club.
Aston Villa don't have a first option written into the terms of their loan agreement for Rashford, meaning other clubs could swoop in for him. Barcelona have previously shown interest and Rashford is open to a move to Spain. (The Telegraph)
