Top story: Hojlund deal is done

Rasmus Hojlund is returning to Italy. Napoli and Manchester United have a verbal agreement in place that will see the Danish forward join the Serie A champions on loan for €6 million. The deal includes a €44-million option to buy that could become an obligation if certain conditions are met.

Napoli were forced to dive back into the transfer market after Romelu Lukaku suffered a serious thigh injury in the team's final preseason match. The Belgian could miss up to three months. (Fabrizio Romano)

Reds submit Guehi offer: Liverpool have submitted an official bid worth £35 million for center-back Marc Guehi. Crystal Palace haven't responded yet because they're trying to secure a replacement for their captain before agreeing to let him depart. (The Athletic)

Antony move falls apart: Antony's proposed permanent transfer from Manchester United to Real Betis was agreed between the two clubs for £25 million, but Betis have suddenly withdrawn the offer, saying they can't afford the fee or the Brazilian winger's wages. (ESPN)
