England's Bright to miss Women's Nations League ties
England captain Millie Bright will miss her country's crucial Women's Nations League matches due to a knee injury.
The 30-year-old has been ruled out of the fixtures against the Netherlands and Scotland in order to undergo treatment, her club Chelsea said on Friday.
Bright, capped 77 times, had already been sidelined for Chelsea's victory over Paris FC in the Women's Champions League on Thursday.
Manchester United's Millie Turner has been called up as a replacement for Bright, who has been serving as the Lionesses skipper in the absence of Leah Williamson.
Women's World Cup runners-up England host the Netherlands on December 1 before travelling to Scotland four days later.
The Lionesses need to win both games to keep alive their chances of reaching the Nations League finals.
England also need to reach the Nations League finals to keep hopes of Olympic qualification alive for Team GB.
