Scotland is sitting pretty atop Group A in Euro 2024 qualifying after pulling off a historic 2-0 win over Spain at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
Scott McTominay scored in each half to give his country its second successive win to start the qualifying cycle and its first over La Roja since 1984. He also bagged a brace in Scotland's triumph over Cyprus on Saturday.

Spain hadn't lost a European qualifier since it fell 2-1 to Slovakia in October 2014. While that loss was shocking - Spain was the reigning champion of Europe at the time - Tuesday's setback feels like less of a blip and more of a developing concern. Spain was eliminated by Morocco in the round of 16 of the World Cup, and head coach Luis de la Fuente only recently replaced Luis Enrique at the helm.
De La Fuente made eight changes to the team he guided to a routine victory over Norway on Saturday, with Joselu and Yeremy Pino making their first competitive starts up front. Joselu produced Spain's two best chances off headers, with one of them crashing off the crossbar. Rodri also nodded a header just over the bar.
But that was all Spain could muster. It managed just eight shots to Scotland's nine despite controlling 75% of possession.
McTominay fired Scotland into the lead in the seventh minute after Pedro Porro slipped in the area, and the Manchester United midfielder doubled the advantage in the 51st following an incredible run by Kieran Tierney down the left flank.
Scotland has now won eight of its last 10 matches at home. It leads Group A with six points, three more than Spain. Norway is stuck in third place after a 1-1 draw with Georgia earlier in the day.
