Denmark international Nicklas Bendtner will serve a 50-day prison sentence after dropping his appeal against an assault conviction, according to The Associated Press.
Earlier this month, the former Arsenal and Juventus forward was handed the sentence for assaulting a taxi driver in Copenhagen on Sept. 9.
Bendtner, who admitted to the assault but claimed it was in self-defense, was also fined 1,500 kroner (£179).
It's unknown when he will serve the 50-day sentence.
The 30-year-old Bendtner currently plays for Norwegian club Rosenborg following spells at Nottingham Forest, Wolfsburg, Juventus, and Arsenal.
