Poll: Where will Alexis Sanchez end up?
Up until Thursday, all signs indicated that Alexis Sanchez would join Manchester City and reunite with manager Pep Guardiola.
But news of a bid from Manchester United has once again raised questions over the future of the energetic Chilean. United has apparently offered both Arsenal and the player more money than its crosstown counterpart, testing the will of each in the January transfer window.
As a soon-to-be free agent, Sanchez has the authority under FIFA regulations to speak with any club that approaches him. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also has hope - however marginal - that the 29-year-old will renew his dwindling contract.
Has Sanchez played his final match for the Gunners? And will the draw of playing under Guardiola prove too much to turn down?
