Shaw makes rare Manchester United start vs. CSKA Moscow
Luke Shaw is out of the dog house.
The Manchester United outcast earned his first start in 219 days Tuesday against CSKA Moscow, ending his purgatory under manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho called out Shaw's lack ambition and focus back in April, with Matteo Darmian taking his place. A change in formation to a back three, as well as the emergence of Ashley Young, kept Shaw out of contention.
Prior to his surprising selection, Shaw had made just two appearances in the League Cup amounting to a paltry 47 minutes of competitive football.
It's been a difficult few years for Shaw, whose high-profile transfer from Southampton in 2014 generated lots of buzz. A double fracture to his leg in 2015 set into motion a series of events that derailed his career.
