Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of Juan Foyth is complete.
On Wednesday, Tottenham announced the signing of Foyth from Estudiantes de la Plata, as the Argentinian centre-back penned a contract with Spurs until 2022. The English club was hoping to sign the teenage defender for a transfer fee of around £9 million, according to the Guardian's Marcus Christenson and Fabrizio Romano.

Foyth, who is 19 years old and represented Argentina at the Under-20 World Cup, was apparently targeted by Tottenham in June, but Spurs' interest cooled when Estudiantes president Juan Sebastian Veron upped the price following interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Internazionale was allegedly also interested in the youngster.
