Step aside, Marcelo Salas.
Alexis Sanchez banged home his 38th goal for Chile in Confederations Cup action Thursday, making him the country's all-time leading scorer ahead of Salas.
Sanchez picked up a loose pass by Germany defender and club teammate Shkodran Mustafi and proceeded to play a quick one-two with Arturo Vidal before slotting a shot inside the near post.
Participating in every major summer tournament since the 2014 World Cup, Sanchez has committed himself to the national team - even at the risk of further injury.
But that dedication has paid off.
The contest ended 1-1, with Chile on top of Group B after two matches.
