Football world pays tribute to Cheick Tiote
There was an outpouring of emotion and tributes following news that former Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote died on Monday.
After the Ivory Coast international's death was confirmed, the football world quickly sprung into action to offer condolences to the 30-year-old, who collapsed during a training session in China with second-tier outfit Beijing Enterprises Group F.C.
Former Newcastle teammate Demba Ba was among the first to alert the news of Tiote's passing before messages from other players, former teammates, and clubs around the world began to flood in:

Newcastle later added one final tribute by uploading a video of Tiote's most iconic moment as a Magpie - when his thunderous volley brought his side level with Arsenal at 4-4 to complete a remarkable comeback in 2011 after trailing 4-0 at halftime.
