Hope inside the Emirates Stadium was restored Sunday after Arsenal jumped out to a 2-0 lead over Manchester United on the heels of second-half goals from Granit Xhaka and Danny Welbeck.
Xhaka fired the struggling Gunners into the lead just after the break when his long-distance strike took a massive deflection off Ander Herrera before looping over a helpless David De Gea.
