Watch: Guardiola delivers heartfelt message to expectant father Arter
Some things are more important than football matches.
Following Manchester City's 2-0 victory Monday over Bournemouth, manager Pep Guardiola sought out Harry Arter to deliver a heartfelt message of support in light of the tragedy that struck the Irishman's family just over a year ago; the 27-year-old Arter, and his fiancee Rachel, dealt with the stillborn birth of their daughter Renee in December 2015.
The two are expecting once again - Rachel is due later this week, in fact - and after the final whistle Monday, Guardiola appeared to offer both his condolences for the aforementioned tragedy, and well-wishes for the coming week.
"I’m so sorry for what happened to you. I wish you all the best," the Spaniard appeared to say before the two men embraced.

Arter confirmed afterwards the subject of Guardiola's classy message:
"He gave me and my partner his best wishes ahead of the birth of our child," the Bournemouth star said.
