Nice forward Mario Balotelli offered Gabriel Jesus some advice that may or may not come in handy as the young Brazilian embarks on his career at Manchester City.
Rumours suggested that Jesus' telephone celebration referred to a former girlfriend who ignored him while in Brazil with Palmeiras but was quick to message him upon his arrival at Manchester City.
However, the quote associated with Jesus was proven to be fake, as the 19-year-old explained that the gesture was actually a message to his mother.
Regardless, Balotelli offered some relationship advice to Jesus on Instagram, telling the young Brazilian to "say no to gold diggers!"
Balotelli, who departed City in 2013, added: "By the way I miss those colours."
