Report: City accepts anti-doping charge over 'club whereabouts'
Manchester City has decided not to contest a recent FA charge against the club for failing to provide full and accurate information about its players' whereabouts, according to the BBC.
The FA demands each club submit details about its players so drug tests can take place without any issue - something City apparently failed to do on three separate occasions within a 12-month period.
English football's governing body gave Pep Guardiola's side until 4 p.m. local time Friday to respond to the charge.
It was alleged City "failed to ensure that their 'Club Whereabouts' information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d)," read an FA statement.
The Guardian's Jamie Jackson and Sean Ingle believe City did not update its players' schedules when the club changed training times.
A fine is expected once an independent commission gives a verdict.
