Watch: Urban climbers break into Emirates Stadium

A pair of urban climbers conquered Emirates Stadium - and have video to prove it.

Under the pseudonym DyingLlama, the youngsters posted footage of their adventure inside Arsenal's ground. They finagled their way into the stairwell before taking in the pitch from the upper tier and climbing onto the roof. After hearing footsteps, they made a quick getaway just as lights around the stadium turned on.

One of the climbers said he and a few other friends then proceeded to scale West Ham's London Stadium, where they did as they pleased without getting caught.

The break-in prompted an investigation from the Gunners, who generally have round-the-clock security staff.

"Fan safety is a top priority and we take security at Emirates Stadium extremely seriously," an Arsenal spokesperson told PA Sport. "We have launched an immediate investigation into this incident. We work closely with police and anti-terrorism experts and will be reviewing our procedures."
