FA charges City, Chelsea after fracas; Fabregas avoids punishment

The Football Association (FA) confirmed Monday that both Manchester City and Chelsea have been charged with failure to control their players after the two sides were involved in a fracas during the latter stages of the Blues' feisty 3-1 victory Saturday.
Both sets of players came together in reaction to a brutal tackle by Sergio Aguero on David Luiz in the 95th minute, for which the Argentine striker received a four-match suspension.

The two sides have until Dec. 8 to reply to Monday's charge.
The FA also announced that Cesc Fabregas, whom Fernandinho grabbed by the neck before gently forcing him to tumble over the advertising boards, will not face any sanctions.
