Lallana suffers apparent calf problem in Spain friendly
Liverpool supporters will bemoan the international break after Adam Lallana limped out of Tuesday's friendly against Spain, the England midfielder heading straight down the tunnel with an apparent calf problem in the opening half at Wembley.
Lallana, 28, had earlier opened the scoring in the glamour friendly from the penalty spot.
The world's foremost fan of the Cruyff turn has been vital to the success of Jurgen Klopp's side this season, and the German gaffer will be hoping the issue is minor as he prepares for Saturday's trip to Southampton.
Lallana's five assists on the campaign are tied for second in the Premier League, and his incisive passing has been crucial in helping unleash the Reds' ferocious attacking trio of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
