Pep Guardiola has his main man back.
Kevin De Bruyne, who suffered a hamstring injury last month and was feared to be sidelined for an extended period, has made a swift return to the pitch. The Belgian playmaker was named in Manchester City's starting XI for Saturday's visit of Everton.
De Bruyne, 25, had been enjoying a marvellous start to the new campaign under Guardiola prior to his ailment, the Citizens reaping the rewards of allowing the Belgian to roam free in attacking midfield.
Looking almost untouchable with him on the pitch, and sluggish in the two matches without him, City will undoubtedly be elated with De Bruyne's return for the meeting with the Toffees.
