Agent: Toure will see out remainder of City contract
The possibility of Yaya Toure leaving Manchester City in January has allegedly been quashed.
The disgruntled player's agent Dimitri Seluk was involved in a heated war of word in the media with City boss Pep Guardiola after the Spaniard omitted Toure from his side's Champions League roster.
Despite a report surfacing last month that City is prepared to let the midfielder leave in January, Seluk, who claimed Guardiola treats his player's "like dogs," insists that Toure will see out the remainder of his contract.
"Yaya will stay at City in January. He has a contract until the end of the season, and we'll see after that what the best option for his career will be."
Toure has yet to appear in a Premier League match this season, and has only managed to feature in City's Champions League qualifier against FC Steaua Bucharest in August.
