Balotelli brands Liverpool move 'worst mistake of my life'
Mario Balotelli is overjoyed to be somewhere other than Liverpool. Anywhere, really.
The Italian striker, who moved to Nice on deadline day hoping to revive his career after a dreadful stint at Anfield, made himself an instant favourite in the French Riviera, scoring twice on his debut in a 3-2 win over Marseille Sunday.

In just 78 minutes of action with his new club, he doubled his output of league goals from his entire spell with the Reds.
Speaking with Canal+ after the match, the much-maligned 26-year-old didn't hide his feelings about his time in Merseyside.
"I joined Liverpool. It was the worst mistake of my life. Apart from the fans, who were fantastic with me, I must be honest, and the players, who I had a good rapport with, I didn’t like the club," he said.
"I had two coaches, Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp. As people they didn’t make a good impression on me. I didn’t get along with them."
In truth, that's likely a mutual feeling between the player and the club. Regardless, Balotelli will be hoping to salvage a career that once looked among the most promising on the continent.
