Sunderland's Vito Mannone: Concedes two in loss
Mannone made one save and conceded twice in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough.
Analysis:
Mannone was beaten by a rocket off the boot of Cristhian Stuani in the 13th minute and a defensive breakdown led to a tap-in for Stuani a half-hour later, just before the halftime whistle. The second half saw the balance of play shifted to the Black Cats, but they were only able to convert once as they lost for their second time in as many matches. After a strong run of form saw them stave off the drop last season, they will need to pick things up faster than they traditionally have if they are to remain in the Premier League for next season.
