Steven Pienaar and David Moyes are working together once again.
On Friday, Sunderland confirmed the signing of Pienaar on a free transfer, as the South African midfielder put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Black Cats.
Pienaar, 34, a product of Ajax Cape Town, worked alongside Moyes for six years at Everton before being released in June. The player made only four Premier League appearances for the Toffees last season, all of which were as a substitute. He was linked with a transfer to the Orlando Pirates before joining Sunderland.
