Liverpool unveils 2016-17 away kit
Liverpool is ditching its white tops from last season and going with a darker look during away matches.
The Merseyside club unveiled its new away kit Thursday, a tribute to the black strip the team wore during its European Cup triumph in 1977.

The club says the colour scheme - black, red, and silver - is a tribute to the matchday programme sold in Rome ahead of Liverpool's victory over Borussia Monchengladbach.
"Black was chosen as the base colour to create an imposing canvas for the flame red warning vents down either side of the torso," the team said in a statement. "Silver trim has been detailed on the front, including the iconic Liver Bird crest, to commemorate the club’s first of five European Cup victories."
The club also honoured legendary manager Bill Shankly by printing his famous quote "Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool" on the inside hem of the top.
